Founded by Detroit based hip-hop artist Nique Love Rhodes and named after her anthemic song "Rise Up," Rise Up Higher seeks to take the songs themes of overcoming obstacles, perseverance, mental fortitude, and being proactive — channeling them into real-world actions. As an extension of Nique's music, Rise Up Higher focuses on Nique's areas of passion - inspiring youth, liberation of the oppressed, civic engagement, and unity.
